• First written constitution of the charity Golf Club de Périgueux
• Creation of the first three holes
• Original clubhouse installed, in a hut from a building site 

• Arrival of the club's first Pro
• First golf school is opened
• Development of a covered practice area in a metal container from a lorry 
• Extension of the course from 3 to 9 holes

• Further extension of the course from 9 to 18 holes

• Inauguration of the practice putting green
• Establishment of the Proshop 
• Opening of the bar and the restaurant

• Clubhouse moves to its current site.

• 9-hole pitch and putt course is developed
• Club starts to develop commercial partnerships

• Practice area is entirely upgraded to create 26 bays, of which 14 are under cover
• Creation of a short game area

• Compact course is formally approved by the French Golf Federation

The not-for-profit golf club "Golf de Périgueux" is run by a Management Committee made up of 12 volunteers and 14 permanent staff  

Over the past 40 years Périgueux Golf Club has become a thriving small business

It has also developed into a showcase tourist attraction for the town of Périgueux
